A Little About Me:

My Dream:

      Ever since I was a boy of six I have know that I wanted to be an animator.  Thanks to my mother who would take me to see the newest Disney animated feature (or whatever other animated feature had come out) for our weekend together every other weekend.  The way those films moved me was just amazing.  I would go home after seeing a film and start drawing the characters that were in the movie.  Then a movie came along that solidified my future, that movie was Toy Story. The animation was so realistic that it was almost hard to tell that it was a cartoon, since I was so young at the time.  I knew that I wanted to make those kinds of movies; I wanted to make ‘real’ cartoons.  

My Childhood:

      When I was just a young lad my parents were divorced, I don’t have any memories of them together and I have always accepted this lifestyle as normal.  I lived with my father growing up and I have lived in big cities, little towns, and have even lived on a farm at one point.  I would get to see my mother every other weekend up until she moved to Kansas when I was sixteen.  I have always enjoyed my time with my mom and we would always have a fun time.  I am now going to college in Kansas and I live with my mom (it helps keep some green in my wallet).  I am majoring in animation so I can pursue my dreams.

Tools of the Trade:

When I create artwork I use a myriad of tools to get the job done. My tools include:

• Pencils (both mechanical and old-fashioned lead)
• Paper
• Wacom Intuos3™
• Adobe Photoshop CS3: Extended™
• Adobe Illustrator CS3™

Experience:

• Graduated from Bishop Neumann High School in Wahoo, NE with a 3.7 GPA.
• Was awarded multiple first, second, and third place ribbons at various art shows in Nebraska, including a silver and bronze medal at the Nebraska State Visual Arts Competition.
• Am now attending Johnson County Community College and am majoring in Animation.
