Lulu's Noodles in the Crossroads, Kansas City, MO

It's shame that I can't find a good noodle shop here in the Kansas City metro area.
Having my first taste of real Noodle Shop (in America) in Lawrence, KS at Zen Zero, it has become very hard to find something to fill the missing pallette of Zen Zero. I have search far and wide for something as yummy as Zen Zero with no luck. Yes, I can go to my local Chinese Buffett, and maybe fullfil some of my hunger in my stomach, but it is just not the same has a good wok fried bowl of Soba Noodles.
Just coming from Lulu's Noodle shop giving it a second chance. My first experience not all that bad, having dinner sometime last autum, and leaving pretty satisified. But still know there are better noodle abound just west of Kansas City, in L-Town.

Upon my second venture to Lulu's I was very disappointed. I ordered from the Lunch menu thinking that I was getting a bang for my buck meal, that is usually found at many Asian theme restaurants. For 6.98 my Szechwan Wok-toss was just a miss. My green beans where mushy and not crisp as I have come to expect from wok-fried veggies. Lightly cooked and still fresh crisp (snap) on the inside.
The other vegetables where pretty spot on, but my Tofu was another story, soggy and cooked like an overdone Sunny-side-up Egg. Ick! The only saving part of the dish was the nice sticky firm Jasmine rice, but where was it? I just got a little bitty portion, like a sample of rice, and not accompaniment to my meal, as I would expect, as I like rice, and lots of it, so I can eat big clumps of it with my chop-sticks. Oh, and lets not even mention the sad sad Crab Rangoon that came with my meal, honestly I have had better Grab Rangoons at Hy-Vee.
Well anyways, not that I had a horrible meal, just very disappointed, as I long for yummy meals from Zen Zero.
