Nothing I ever do is right

I gues I can do nothing right.
Everything I do is wrong and incorrect.
Why is that so?

It seems that way. That is what everyone and everthing tells me.
I can hear all the wispers behind my back.

DS Rules Japan

Iwata states that the DS now holds the record for the fastest system ever to reach five million units sold in Japan.DS has topped sales of 5,000,000 units in Japan. This figure is for actual sales, and not shipped units.

I hope the DS has the same success here in America. It seems to be gaining some speed! In the meantime I'll be playing Animal Crossing Wild World, and Mario Kart DS.

This Month in Animal Crossing

Things to check out the month in Animal Crossing.

Inside Out: Intel may get a new tag line

The new identity is expected to be unveiled in the first week of January, most likely with a new advertising campaign. The change will be announced worldwide simultaneously. A section of Intel?s top brass is expected in Singapore after January 3 to oversee the changes in the Asia-Pacific region, including India.

Kinda weird
I hope they don't change the tone jingle.

NORAD Tracks Santa 2005

This is the 50th Anniversary that NORAD and its predecessor, the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) have tracked Santa. The tradition began after a Colorado Springs-based Sears Roebuck & Co. store advertisement for children to call Santa on a special "hotline" included an inadvertently misprinted telephone number. Instead of Santa, the phone number put kids through to the CONAD Commander-in-Chief's operations "hotline." The Director of Operations, Colonel Harry Shoup, received the first "Santa" call on Christmas Eve 1955. Realizing what had happened, Colonel Shoup had his staff check radar data to see if there was any indication of Santa making his way south from the North Pole. Indeed there were signs of Santa and children who called were given an update on Santa's position. Thus, the tradition was born. In 1958, the governments of Canada and the United States decided to create a bi-national air defense command for the North American continent called the North American Air Defense Command. Canada and the U.S. believed they could better defend North America together as a team instead of separately.

The Command carried out its first Santa tracking in 1958 after inheriting the tradition from CONAD. Since that time, Canadian and American men and women who work at NORAD have responded to phone calls from children personally. Additionally, media from all over the world call NORAD on Christmas Eve for updates on Santa's location. Last year this Website was visited by millions of people who wanted to know Santa's whereabouts. This year, the information is provided in six languages.

NORAD relies on many volunteers to help make Santa tracking possible. Many people at Cheyenne Mountain and Peterson Air Force Base spend part of their Christmas Eve with their families and friends at NORAD's Santa Tracking Operations Center in order to answer phones and provide Santa updates to the many thousands of children who call in.

The NES Reincarnated

For those of us that were actually alive back in the early '80s, there is no denying that the drab grey box that was the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) changed our lives.

Looks like NEX has re-released the NES in a new form. With some technological improvements. So if you have all your old NES cartridges lying around, you better break them out.
I believe that the NES patent ran out sometime this year, and we will probably see more of these coming out in the near future.
Oh if current and upcoming generation could put the excitement of gaming that was present during NES and SNES era.

Report: Bush OK'd Spying in U.S.

High-level administration figures, reacting to a report that the National Security Agency eavesdropped without warrants on people inside the United States, asserted Friday that President Bush has respected the Constitution while striving to protect the American people.
This is what just infuriates me. We strive for some twenty odd years to protect American from the "Red Scare" and Communism. Then we elect a president that practices Communist like values and claims that these measures are for the good of the country and our safety.

Arggg

It's cold and it is going to snow!
Ick!
I can't concetrate on my paper.

Worst of all I feel a cold ever more creeping in.
No good!

Summerland

One of the 90's great lost treasures!

Everclear
Summerland
Let?s just drive your car
We could drive all day
Let?s just get the hell away from here
For I am sick again-
Just plain sick to death
Of the sound of my own voice
We could leave behind
Another wasted year
Just get some cheap red wine
And just go flying

We could do the things,
All the things you wanted to
No one cares about us anyway

I think I lost my smile
I think you lost yours too
We have lost the power to
Make each other laugh
Let?s just leave this place
And go to summerland
Just a name on the map
Sounds like heaven to me

We could find a town-
Be just how we want to be
No one here really cares
About us anyway
We could find a place-
Make it what we want it to be
No one really gives a fuck
About us anyway
We could live-
Live just like we want to live
No one here really cares
About us anyway
We could be-
Everything we want to be
We could get lost in the fall
Glimmer sparkle and fade
The sparkle and fade
Fall glimmer sparkle and fade

Forget about our jobs at
The record store
Forget about all the losers
That we know
Forget about all the memories
That keep you down
Forget about them
We could lose them in the
Sparkle and fade
We could leave them behind
In the sparkle and fade
Yeah sparkle and fade
Fall glimmer sparkle and fade

Links and Things

Just a quick post on things of intrest.
The band Steadman is giving away their entire catalog of music away as MP3s.
Not sure who they are or what type of music they play. I will defiantly have to check their music out.

Beck has revamped his website.
Be sure to check the Discobox for some unreleased tunes.

Also cool CD's that have little bumps so you don't scratch them. (Lame Website)
Scratch Less Disc
Update- Too Expensive
Other then that not much going on.

School School, Paper, Presentations and horibale grouchy asshole Christmas shopping crowd at work.

Still beta testing Office 12 which is pretty cool. I like the new ?Ribbon? toolbar layout.
Wish I had an extra PC or HD to really play around with it. Maybe once finals are finished.
