Starbucks Iced Coffee Italian Roast

Starbucks Iced Coffee which is sold in various supermarkets and gas stations. I highly recommended to never touch this. Both the normal and light version are disgusting. I was expecting somewhat the same experience as the Starbucks doubleshot canned drink. Not even close, as April put it, ?Taste like old IHOP coffee and the end of the night.? So be forewarner this stuff is disgusting and very offensive to one's taste buds, plus overpriced for icky water downed coffee in a stylish can.

Don't buy this stuff!

I wish they would bring back the Limited Edition Mint Frappuccino in bottled form. According to Wikipedia Frappuccino artice, "Mint (Bottled) - This was a bottled version of a Starbucks Frappuccino that had similar consistency to other bottled frappuccinos and had a peppermint flavoring to it. Before it even hit stores in mid-2005, it was announced it would be a limited edition item, but did in fact sell very well. Regardless, it did live up to the limited edition name and Starbucks dropped it in January 2006. There is no other bottled frappuccino on the market with this flavor or any similarity to this flavor."

Oh well, guess I'll keep my search on for a good canned coffee that isn't overpriced.

A funny comic from FoxTrot.

Moving Servers

Sometime this week I will be moving my blog over to jccc.edu serves. The move is because of KU not retaining e-mail and server space once a student graduates. Pretty dumb as other place including JCCC allow one to keep their storage and address if used after graduation.

My KU address will be missed. I wish there was a way I could keep it. I would even pay for it if I could.
Oh well :(

CoverFlow

"CoverFlow
We are pleased to announce that all CoverFlow technology and intellectual property was recently sold to Apple. It has been incorporated into the latest version of iTunes. Please visit www.apple.com/itunes
"
Look as the technology to do the cool album cover flip is not of Apple's. A small software outfit called Steel Skies is responsible for the technology and has sold it to Apple. I tried digging up more info about the company but was unable to find more info.
Now only if we can get some lyric importing technology built into iTunes, as that would be really sweet! I think it is a tad harder to get lyrics to import, due to various song titles being the same for artist as well as copyright infringement. (Damn copyright the death of our society) Plus there is no main database of lyrics to source from. I am surprised that Apple has not themselves included lyrics with iTunes Store purchases. (Side note the iTunes Music Store is now referred to as iTunes Store)
It also surprised me that Apple decided to update everyone's none iTunes music with album artwork. Why would they allow this to happen? Yes, it makes the CoverFlow technology in iTunes 7.0 worthwhile, but there are so many more important aspect of iTunes that are very frustrating, such as not being able to update your library with new Mp3s unless they are purchased or ripped from CD, and the ability to pull music off your iPod straight in iTunes is not supported in iTunes. I find it odd the Mr. Jobs decided to single out album artwork problem and make it a prominent feature. Maybe he has an ulterior motive? Maybe he is hoping we fill our iPods up with album artwork and find that we can't store as many songs, and then we will all run out and purchase higher capacity iPods. By the way the new iPod Nanos are ugly! The whole point of the Nano was sleek cool looking design. It looks more of a toy now, then some sleek bleeding edge technological device. Oh well, I'm off to organize more of my iTunes Library, a daunting task in itself.
Source of CoverFlow origins and renaming of iTunes Store found at; AppleInsider here.

Boing Boing: Photo of president stepping on 9-11 US flag

"To paraphrase George Orwell: "If you want a vision of the future, imagine a shoe stamping on a symbol of freedom - forever." (Photo from Reuters) Link"

A nice image of the president crushing our country. Why hasn't this blown up all over the place? I find it very interesting what the media picks to pound into our brains while other things are left alone. Who knows?

Blog Page Views

Here is a quick Google Map of the pages views my blog is receiving. I find it somewhat interesting. I might have to do a little more detailed review of the hits, and post people are reading from different areas. The map is provided by statcounter.com Now if I can get some comments on my posts.
