VH1 Classic 120 Minutes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
VH1 Classic 120 Minutes (previously The Alternative) is a music video program that airs on the U.S. cable television network VH1 Classic. The show debuted in August 2004 and mainly features videos from alternative, post-punk, goth, punk, and '80s New Wave artists.
Oh yes 120 Minutes. Such a landmark TV series that was once shown on MTV, during its great influence, as a media giant, and cultural phenomenon that now does not exist anymore. When the original 120 Minutes aired, I myself was not allowed to watch MTV. But I do remember those occasional insistences of being able to watch MTV, and seeing 120 Minutes, along with other things such as Liquid Television. Oh,,, such great memories. I wish music videos, and MTV had the spirit of early nineties. Such a great time for music videos. Such an artistic expression, and media form, that got whored out to the furthest extent that no one even watches music videos anymore. Go head name one video that you have seen lately from a current rock artist, that you saw on TV? Yeah thats what I thought...
